Italian Organic Honey MAREMMA TOSCANA is Dark yellow honey with coppery reflections. On the palate it is persistent with notes of hay and licorice. It is ideal accompanied with pecorino cheese, as a base for pinzimonio, in fresh fruit salads, to brown roasts and dissolved in black tea or in rum-based alcoholic infusions.
Italian Organic Honey MAREMMA TOSCANA is produced during the period from April to September in the municipalities of Grosseto, Capalbio and in the natural park of the Argentario peninsula. The collection areas of the bees are the mixed cork forests, the Mediterranean scrub, the hills overlooking the sea and the inaccessible hinterland. The blooms visited follow one another from spring to autumn, starting from those typical of the Mediterranean scrub (rosemary, heather), passing through the summer ones of sulla and sunflower, up to the autumn ones of inula, strawberry tree and ivy.
