MALVASIA DI CANDIA DOC Montemartini
GRAPE: 100% aromatic Malvasia di Candia, sourced exclusively from our vineyards in Ziano Piacentino.
VITICULTURE: Cordon trained, spur pruning system.
PRODUCTION: Very mature and healthy grapes are hand-picked and selected. They are then pressed with a soft press method and allowed to ferment at a temperature that does not exceed 20 °C. Subsequently, the wine is left to age on fine lees for 3 months.
The wine is bottled and sold the following spring.
ORGANOLEPTIC FEATURES
COLOUR: bright straw yellow.
FRAGRANCE: aromatic and persistent with complex notes of elderflower and sage.
FLAVOUR: well-orchestrated, balanced and lingering. ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12,5%vol.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Perfect with starters, delicate first courses, sea food and white meat.
Also excellent alone or with aperitifs of cheese.
