Labeerinto brewery presents its Craft Beer Teseo Made in Italy.
India Pale Ale is a brewing style in the ale family.
Originally from Great Britain, it was exported to India to quench the thirst of English settlers. It was made strong and heavily hopped to survive the long journey. The original has a grassy, fruity aroma, a medium/light body, and a decisive bitterness balanced by the sweetness of the crystal malts that are used.
How do you identify an IPA?
Amber colour with a compact, moderately-persistent head. Decidedly hoppy notes and a higher alcohol content.
To each beer its own glass
A pint glass, of course!
Colour: amber, EBC 25.3 Alcohol: 6.2% Bitterness (IBU): 49.9
Appearance: it pours a beautiful amber colour with orange reflections and has a fine, compact, moderately-persistent head. Average carbonation.
Aroma: it starts out elegantly herbaceous. Citrusy and resinous notes complete the aroma profile, balanced by malty notes.
The aroma is captivating and refined.
Taste: full-bodied with minimal carbonation, it’s austere with light notes of malt and a slightly astringent bitterness.
Overall impression: Balanced, never pungent despite the alcohol content. Well-balanced between astringency and malt. The grand finale is a long-lasting aromatic finish: a must for hop lovers!
